About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Geologist specializing in Exploration to join their team on a fully remote basis. This pivotal role involves guiding and executing exploration strategies to identify and define new mineral resources globally. You will leverage advanced geological interpretation, data analysis, and modeling techniques to drive discovery success. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage exploration programs and budgets in diverse geological settings.
• Interpret regional and project-scale geological data, including geophysical and geochemical surveys.
• Generate and advance exploration targets through systematic geological mapping and sampling.
• Utilize advanced geological modeling software to integrate diverse datasets and delineate mineral potential.
• Provide expert geological guidance and mentorship to junior exploration teams.

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Geology or a related Earth Science discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in mineral exploration, with a strong focus on discovery.
• Expertise in geological data analysis, interpretation, and 3D geological modeling software.
• Demonstrated success in identifying and delineating economically viable mineral deposits.
• Excellent understanding of commodity markets and exploration economics.
