About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Senior Geoscientist to join their globally distributed exploration team. Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and integrate seismic, well log, and other geophysical data to delineate hydrocarbon reservoirs.
• Develop and maintain 3D geological models of subsurface structures and stratigraphy.
• Conduct prospectivity assessments and contribute to exploration portfolio management.
• Collaborate effectively with geologists, petroleum engineers, and management in a remote setting .
• Utilize advanced geoscience software and workflows for data analysis and visualization.
• Stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies in geophysics and geological modeling.

Requirements

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Geophysics, Geology, or a related geoscience discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in oil and gas exploration, with a proven track record in seismic interpretation and geological modeling.
• Expertise in relevant software packages such as Petrel, Kingdom Suite, or similar.
• Strong understanding of structural geology, sedimentology, and basin analysis.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for effective remote collaboration .
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
