Remote Senior Graphic Designer

About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a talented and experienced Remote Senior Graphic Designer to join their distributed creative team. This position is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere. You will be instrumental in developing compelling visual concepts and executing high-quality designs across various media, including digital assets, marketing collateral, and branding materials. This role requires a creative individual with a strong understanding of visual communication principles and the ability to translate brand strategies into impactful designs, contributing to a global brand presence from your home office, particularly supporting initiatives within the Durban region and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and design visually appealing graphics for digital and print, including social media content, website banners, infographics, presentations, and marketing materials.
• Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines, maintaining consistency in visual identity across all touchpoints.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to understand project requirements and deliver creative solutions that meet objectives.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project scope.
• Source and edit high-quality images and videos as needed for design projects.
• Provide creative direction and feedback to junior designers or external agencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of professional graphic design experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating diverse design skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with other design software.
• Excellent understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy.
• Experience working remotely and collaborating with distributed teams using project management and communication tools.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
