About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Industrial Engineer to join their team in a fully remote capacity, supporting operations that include their facility in Stellenbosch . You will be responsible for analyzing complex systems, developing innovative solutions, and implementing best practices to enhance productivity and reduce costs. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and optimize industrial processes to improve efficiency, throughput, and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead cross-functional teams in implementing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma projects remotely.
• Develop and standardize operational procedures and best practices for global application.
• Utilize data analytics and simulation tools to identify improvement opportunities and validate proposed solutions.
• Provide technical expertise and mentorship to engineering and operations staff across different locations.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful completion in a remote work environment.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in industrial engineering, with a focus on process improvement.
• Expertise in Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Black Belt certification preferred).
• Proven experience with process simulation software, statistical analysis, and project management tools.
• Strong capability for independent work, excellent communication, and collaboration skills in a remote setting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead change and drive results without direct supervision.
