Our client is seeking an innovative and analytical Process Improvement Engineer to join their remote-based team. This role is dedicated to analyzing and optimizing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity. About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative and analytical Process Improvement Engineer to join their remote-based team. This role is dedicated to analyzing and optimizing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity. Working remotely, you will leverage data-driven methodologies to identify bottlenecks, implement solutions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. This position is ideal for a proactive engineer who is passionate about streamlining operations and has a proven ability to deliver tangible results from a distance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
  • Design, develop, and implement new processes and methodologies to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
  • Utilize Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to drive process optimization and waste reduction.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials.
  • Collect and analyze data on process performance, reporting key metrics and recommendations to management.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and supply chain, in a virtual environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in process engineering or continuous improvement within a manufacturing setting.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Lean, Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt preferred), and other process improvement methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working collaboratively in a remote setting.
  • Proficiency in process mapping software and data analysis tools.
