Remote Senior Information Security Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security alerts from various sources, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions.
• Conduct in-depth investigations of security incidents, determining root causes and recommending remediation actions.
• Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, reporting findings and prioritizing mitigation efforts.
• Develop and maintain security documentation, including incident response plans and security policies.
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement security best practices and ensure secure system configurations.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the organization’s security posture through threat intelligence and proactive defense strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in information security analysis, threat detection, and incident response.
• Strong understanding of security principles, protocols, and technologies.
• Proficiency in using SIEM platforms, vulnerability scanners, and other security tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Relevant security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP) are a strong advantage.
