About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Investment Banker to join their fully remote team, supporting operations across South Africa . This critical role involves originating, structuring, and executing complex financial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and advisory services for a diverse client base. You will leverage your extensive network and deep market knowledge to identify new business opportunities and build strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities

• Originate and lead investment banking transactions, including M&A advisory, debt and equity capital markets, and corporate finance.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, private equity firms, and institutional investors.
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, valuation modeling, and due diligence for transactions.
• Prepare pitch books, presentations, and other marketing materials for client engagements.
• Manage deal teams, oversee transaction execution, and ensure timely and successful closing of deals.
• Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes to identify new opportunities.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Finance, MBA, or a related field.
• CFA designation is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or private equity.
• Demonstrated success in originating and executing a wide range of financial transactions.
• Exceptional financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• Strong understanding of capital markets, M&A processes, and corporate finance principles.
• Excellent client management, negotiation, and communication skills, essential for remote collaboration and client interaction.
