About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the negotiation and drafting of complex international commercial contracts and partnership agreements.
• Provide strategic legal counsel on global expansion, mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
• Ensure compliance with diverse international laws and regulations, including data privacy and trade compliance.
• Manage and advise on intellectual property portfolios, including trademarks, patents, and copyrights.
• Oversee and guide external legal counsel on specialized matters in various international markets.
• Develop and implement legal policies and procedures to support global business operations effectively.

Requirements

• Admitted Attorney (or equivalent qualification) with a minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in international corporate law or complex commercial transactions.
• Demonstrated expertise in cross-border contracts, international regulatory frameworks, and M&A.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal issues clearly.
• Proven ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects independently in a remote work setting .
• Experience with intellectual property law and data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) is essential.
