About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Remote Senior Manufacturing Engineer to drive excellence in their manufacturing operations from a distance. This role is critical for optimizing production processes, implementing new technologies, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency across multiple sites. You will collaborate closely with on-site teams, providing expert guidance and strategic direction. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to make a significant impact on manufacturing performance without the need for relocation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of advanced manufacturing strategies and process improvements.
  • Analyze production data to identify opportunities for efficiency gains, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
  • Provide technical expertise and remote support for manufacturing operations, troubleshooting complex issues.
  • Oversee the introduction of new manufacturing technologies and equipment, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and operations teams to translate product designs into manufacturable solutions.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, standards, and best practices for global implementation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a significant focus on process optimization and advanced manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing , Six Sigma, and statistical process control (SPC).
  • Experience with various manufacturing technologies and automation systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence teams remotely and effectively communicate across different levels of an organization.
