About the Role

Our client, a progressive online wellness platform, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Senior Massage Therapist & Wellness Coach to join their distributed team. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within South Africa. You will be responsible for providing expert massage therapy consultations and personalized wellness coaching to clients via virtual platforms. The role involves assessing client needs, developing tailored wellness plans, and guiding them through self-care techniques and therapeutic exercises. You will leverage your extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage modalities to offer remote guidance and support. Key Responsibilities

• Develop personalized wellness and self-care plans tailored to individual client needs.
• Offer remote coaching sessions focused on posture improvement, pain management, and overall physical well-being.
• Educate clients on the benefits of various massage techniques and therapeutic exercises they can perform at home.
• Monitor client progress and adjust wellness plans as needed.
• Maintain detailed and confidential client records within the platform's secure system.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and research in massage therapy and remote wellness coaching.
• Collaborate with the platform's development team to enhance remote client engagement tools and resources.

Requirements

• Qualified Massage Therapist with recognized certification and a minimum of 7 years of professional experience.
• Proven experience in wellness coaching or a related field is highly advantageous.
• Extensive knowledge of diverse massage modalities and their therapeutic benefits.
• Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills, adapted for virtual interaction.
• Ability to clearly explain and demonstrate physical techniques remotely.
