About the Role Our client is seeking a highly experienced and self-motivated Remote Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their globally distributed team. Key Responsibilities • Lead the design, development, and validation of advanced mechanical systems and components from concept to production. • Conduct sophisticated analyses, including FEA and CFD , to ensure optimal performance, durability, and safety of designs. • Develop detailed technical documentation, including CAD models , engineering drawings, and specifications. • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and product management, across different time zones. • Oversee prototype builds, testing, and performance validation, providing expert troubleshooting and solutions. • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and standards.

Requirements • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field. • 10+ years of progressive experience in mechanical engineering design and development. • Expertise in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and advanced simulation tools. • Proven experience leading complex engineering projects and managing technical risks. • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills, essential for a remote role. • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage workload effectively in a distributed environment.
