Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive virtual consultations with clients to assess their skin concerns, medical history, and aesthetic goals.
• Develop personalized treatment plans utilizing a range of medical aesthetic procedures, including laser treatments, chemical peels, and advanced skincare protocols.
• Provide expert advice and education on treatment options, potential outcomes, risks, and post‑treatment care.
• Guide clients through the safe and effective use of at‑home aesthetic devices and prescription skincare, if applicable.
• Analyze client progress through submitted photos and virtual check‑ins, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians and other members of the telehealth team to ensure optimal client care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed client records in the company's Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements, techniques, and technologies in medical aesthetics and laser treatments.
• Contribute to the development of training materials and protocols for remote aesthetic service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and company policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering long‑term relationships.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a licensed Medical Aesthetician or Laser Technician, with extensive experience in virtual consultations and remote client management.
• Possession of advanced certifications in laser and light‑based therapies, chemical peels, and other medical aesthetic procedures.
• Demonstrable expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide array of skin conditions and aesthetic concerns.
• Exceptional communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills, adapted for a virtual environment.
• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms, EHR systems, and various digital communication tools.
• Strong understanding of laser physics, safety protocols, and treatment parameters.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain a high level of productivity in a remote setting.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant health science field or equivalent experience is highly desirable.
• Registered with the relevant South African Health Professions Council (HPCSA) or equivalent.
• Stable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home office space.
