Key Responsibilities

• Analyze metallurgical test data and plant performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and refine mineral processing flowsheet designs and operating parameters.
• Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting for plant operations.
• Conduct literature reviews and research on new metallurgical technologies and techniques.
• Prepare technical reports, process simulations, and recommendations for process optimization.
• Collaborate virtually with site-based teams and R&D departments to implement best practices.

Requirements

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in mineral processing and metallurgy, preferably in base metals or precious metals.
• Proficiency with metallurgical simulation software (e.g., Metsim, Outotec HSC).
• Experience in data analysis and statistical process control.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
