Key Responsibilities

• Analyze metallurgical process data from various sites to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Develop and implement best practices for mineral processing, focusing on enhanced recovery and reduced environmental impact.
• Conduct feasibility studies and pilot plant trials for new process technologies or modifications.
• Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting to site metallurgists and operations teams.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in metallurgical science and technology, proposing innovative solutions.
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports and present findings and recommendations to senior management and project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in mineral processing and extractive metallurgy, with a strong focus on process optimization.
• Proven ability to analyze complex metallurgical data using statistical methods and simulation software.
• Experience with a variety of processing techniques (e.g., flotation, leaching, refining) across different commodities.
• Excellent remote collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across different time zones.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully implementing process improvements that resulted in measurable cost savings or efficiency gains.
