Key Responsibilities

• Design, document, and advocate for network architectures that meet business requirements for scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
• Lead the evaluation and selection of new network technologies, protocols, and vendors.
• Develop and maintain network standards, policies, and best practices for global deployment.
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure robust network security measures are integrated into the architecture.
• Provide expert-level technical guidance and mentorship to network engineering teams across different locations.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues that span multiple domains and technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced certifications are a strong plus.
• 10+ years of experience in network engineering and architecture, with a significant focus on large-scale, complex environments.
• Expert-level knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS), switching technologies, MPLS, and WAN optimization.
• Deep understanding of network security principles, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.
• Proven experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills, with strong written and verbal communication abilities suitable for a remote-first team.
