Remote Senior Process Engineer - Energy Sector

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize existing industrial processes to improve yield, reduce costs, and minimize waste.
• Design and implement new process technologies and equipment, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
• Develop and maintain process simulation models for troubleshooting and performance prediction.
• Troubleshoot operational issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in process operations.
• Collaborate with plant operators, maintenance teams, and R&D departments to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.
• 10+ years of experience in process engineering within the oil and gas , petrochemical, or power generation industries.
• Proven track record in process design, simulation (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS), and optimization.
• Strong knowledge of process control systems , instrumentation, and safety instrumented systems (SIS).
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to solve complex engineering problems independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, essential for remote collaboration.
