Remote Senior Project Manager - E-commerce Platforms

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly capable Remote Senior Project Manager to oversee the development and enhancement of their e-commerce platforms. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of e-commerce platform projects, from requirements gathering to deployment and optimization.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets for online initiatives.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless integration of features and functionalities.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with e-commerce development and deployment.
• Ensure all projects meet high standards for user experience, performance, security, and scalability.
• Provide regular project status updates and performance reports to senior management and key stakeholders.

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in project management , with a strong focus on e-commerce or digital product development.
• Proven success in managing complex online platform projects, including website redesigns, feature rollouts, and system integrations.
• Proficiency in Agile project management methodologies and familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, custom solutions).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, particularly in a remote setting.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a keen understanding of online customer behavior and conversion optimization.
• A relevant project management certification (PMP, CSM) is a plus.
