Remote Senior Project Manager - Product Development

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly accomplished and results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead product development initiatives from a remote capacity. This role is integral to guiding new products from conceptualization through market launch, ensuring alignment with strategic vision, market demands, and business objectives. You will manage cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, fostering collaboration and driving innovation in a distributed environment. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the entire lifecycle of product development projects, from ideation, research, and design to development, testing, launch, and post-launch analysis.
• Define product roadmaps, project plans, key milestones, and resource requirements in collaboration with product owners and stakeholders.
• Manage cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication, task delegation, and accountability across different departments and time zones.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, manage dependencies, and resolve issues to ensure timely and successful product delivery.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product strategy and development decisions.
• Oversee project budgets and ensure products are launched within financial parameters.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Project Manager , with a strong focus on product development and new product introductions.
• Proven track record of successfully launching innovative products in competitive markets.
• Deep understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies, commonly used in software and hardware development.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, crucial for remote team collaboration.
• Experience with product management tools and project management software.
• A relevant degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
