About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly accomplished Senior Research Scientist specializing in Computational Biology to join their globally distributed research team. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere. You will be instrumental in developing and applying computational approaches to analyze complex biological datasets, such as genomics, proteomics, and transcriptomics, to drive discovery in areas like disease mechanisms and drug development. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement computational strategies to analyze large-scale biological datasets.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in computational biology or bioinformatics research.
• Expertise in programming languages such as Python or R, and proficiency with relevant bioinformatics libraries and tools.
• Strong experience with machine learning techniques applied to biological data.
• Solid understanding of biological pathways, molecular biology, and genomics.
