About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Remote Senior Reservoir Engineer to join their innovative Oil & Gas division. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to critical reservoir management and development strategies. You will be instrumental in analyzing reservoir performance, forecasting production, and optimizing recovery techniques to maximize asset value. This role demands a deep understanding of reservoir characterization, simulation, and economic evaluation, ideal for a professional who excels in independent work and leverages advanced technology to drive success in the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth reservoir characterization studies using geological and geophysical data to build static and dynamic models.
  • Develop and implement integrated reservoir management plans, including production optimization and enhanced oil recovery (EOR) strategies.
  • Perform production forecasting and economic evaluations to support field development planning and investment decisions.
  • Utilize reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel RE) to model fluid flow and predict reservoir behavior under various scenarios.
  • Analyze well performance data, identify potential issues, and recommend corrective actions or interventions.
  • Collaborate remotely with geoscientists, production engineers, and management to ensure alignment on reservoir objectives and strategies.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or PhD in Petroleum Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in reservoir engineering, with a strong focus on the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Proficiency in reservoir simulation software, data analysis tools, and well performance analysis techniques.
  • Solid understanding of reservoir rock and fluid properties, reservoir engineering principles, and subsurface data integration.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality results in a remote setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for remote collaboration.

Benefits

  • Highly competitive salary with performance-based incentives.
