About the Role Our client is seeking a highly experienced Remote Senior Reservoir Engineer specializing in reservoir characterization to join their innovative team.

Key Responsibilities • Lead the development and refinement of detailed reservoir characterization models using integrated geological, geophysical, and engineering data. • Perform complex reservoir simulations to evaluate hydrocarbon recovery potential and optimize field development plans. • Analyze production data, well logs, and core samples to accurately define reservoir properties and heterogeneity. • Design and oversee data acquisition programs, including coring, logging, and testing strategies. • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams in a remote setting to ensure consistency and accuracy in subsurface interpretations. • Prepare comprehensive technical reports and present findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.

Requirements • Master's or Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, or a related discipline. • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in reservoir engineering , with a strong focus on characterization and modeling. • Proven expertise in reservoir simulation software (e.g., ECLIPSE, CMG) and data analysis tools. • In-depth knowledge of reservoir physics, petrophysics, geology, and fluid flow principles. • Experience with statistical methods and uncertainty analysis in reservoir modeling. • Exceptional communication, leadership, and virtual collaboration skills.
