About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished Remote Senior Reservoir Geologist to join their dynamic exploration team. This position offers complete remote flexibility, allowing you to leverage your extensive experience in subsurface interpretation and geological modeling from anywhere. You will be instrumental in evaluating geological data to identify and assess potential oil and gas reserves, contributing to strategic exploration efforts. Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and integrate diverse geological datasets, including seismic, well logs, and core data, to define hydrocarbon potential.
• Develop and refine detailed 3D geological models and static reservoir characterizations.
• Conduct comprehensive basin analyses, understanding tectonic history, depositional environments, and petroleum systems.
• Collaborate effectively with geophysicists, reservoir engineers, and management in a virtual team environment .
• Prepare high-quality technical reports and presentations for exploration strategy reviews.
• Mentor junior geologists and champion best practices in geological analysis.

Requirements

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Geology or a related earth science discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in petroleum geology, with a strong focus on exploration and reservoir characterization.
• Proficiency with industry-standard geological software such as Petrel, Kingdom Suite, or similar.
• Expertise in structural geology , stratigraphy, and sedimentology.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to work autonomously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective remote collaboration .
