About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Remote Senior Security Engineer with a strong focus on cloud security to join their innovative technology team. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage security solutions for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Develop and enforce security best practices and standards for cloud deployments.
• Conduct security assessments and penetration testing of cloud infrastructure.
• Automate security tasks and processes using scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Lead incident response efforts for cloud-based security events.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure secure application and infrastructure deployments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in information security, with at least 4 years focused on cloud security engineering.
• Proven expertise in securing major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong understanding of networking, identity and access management (IAM), and data protection in cloud contexts.
• Experience with security automation, scripting (Python, PowerShell), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate, or CISSP are highly desirable.
