About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Senior Software Architect to design and guide the development of our cutting-edge technology platforms. Key Responsibilities

• Design and document robust, scalable, and maintainable software architectures for new and existing applications.
• Define technical standards, patterns, and best practices for software development and deployment.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineering leads, and developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, frameworks, and tools to enhance our technology stack.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of all deployed systems through architectural reviews and proactive measures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a software architecture role.
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture, cloud-native design patterns, and distributed systems.
• Expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go, C#) and database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence technical direction.
