Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs for energy trading applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, quants, and other engineers to define software requirements and architecture.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using best practices and modern development methodologies.
• Optimize application performance, database interactions, and system resilience.
• Participate actively in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural design sessions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in software development , with a strong focus on backend systems.
• Proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, or C++, and experience with distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of relational databases, NoSQL databases, and caching mechanisms.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.
