Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable, resilient microservices that form the backbone of our client's platform.
• Write high-quality, maintainable, and testable code in one or more backend languages (e.g., Go, Java, Python, Node.js).
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other engineers to define technical requirements and solutions.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Work with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) to ensure efficient deployment and scaling of services.
• Design and implement robust APIs and manage data persistence using appropriate database technologies.
• Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production environments.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions regarding microservices patterns, scalability, and performance.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in distributed systems and microservices architecture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years focused on microservices.
• Strong proficiency in one or more backend programming languages (e.g., Go, Java, Python, Node.js).
• Demonstrated experience designing, building, and operating microservices in a production environment.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems concepts, concurrency, and fault tolerance.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) is highly desirable.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Familiarity with message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a remote, distributed team environment.
