Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture in a remote environment.
• Drive the architectural design, development, and implementation of complex software systems and features.
• Define and enforce high standards for code quality, testing, and performance across the engineering team.
• Collaborate closely with product management, design, and other engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Manage the software development lifecycle (SDLC) for your team, ensuring timely delivery of projects and features.
• Champion best practices in software engineering, Agile methodologies, and DevOps principles.
• Conduct performance reviews, provide regular feedback, and support the career development of team members.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring the robustness and scalability of the platform.
• Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the technology roadmap of the organization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues as they arise.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in software development, with at least 4-5 years in a management or team lead role.
• Proven experience in leading and scaling software engineering teams, preferably in a remote or distributed setting.
• Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and modern development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
• Strong proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C++, Go) and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and microservices architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage remote teams.
• Demonstrated ability to make sound technical decisions and guide engineering strategy.
• Experience with performance tuning and scaling of large-scale distributed systems.
