About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design of complex, large-scale telecommunications networks, including core, access, and transport layers.
• Develop strategic technology roadmaps, evaluating emerging trends and recommending adoption of new solutions.
• Define standards, best practices, and design principles for network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and product development, to ensure architectural alignment.
• Conduct in-depth technical analysis and feasibility studies for proposed network enhancements and new service deployments.
• Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to network engineering teams, fostering innovation and continuous improvement in a remote setting.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in telecommunications network architecture and design.
• Deep expertise in IP networking, MPLS, SDN/NFV, wireless technologies (5G), and cloud integration.
• Proven experience in designing highly available, scalable, and secure network solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical strategies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working effectively in remote teams.
