Remote Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly analytical and experienced Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst to join their fully remote security team. This role is critical in proactively identifying, analyzing, and reporting on emerging cyber threats that could impact the organization. You will be responsible for gathering intelligence from various sources, assessing actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and providing actionable insights to inform defensive strategies. The ideal candidate is passionate about cybersecurity, possesses exceptional research skills, and thrives in a collaborative, distributed work environment. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret threat intelligence data from diverse sources, including open-source, commercial feeds, and government reports.
• Develop and maintain threat models , actor profiles, and TTPs relevant to the organization's industry and assets.
• Produce timely and actionable threat intelligence reports, briefings, and alerts for various stakeholders.
• Collaborate with incident response, security operations, and engineering teams to integrate intelligence into defensive measures.
• Conduct deep-dive research on specific threat actors, campaigns, and malware families.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of threat intelligence platforms and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, International Relations, Intelligence Studies, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in threat intelligence analysis, cybersecurity operations, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in analyzing malware, network traffic, and forensic data.
• Strong understanding of geopolitical factors influencing cyber threats and various threat actor motivations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information clearly.
• Proven ability to work independently and effectively within a remote team setting.
