Remote Senior UX Researcher - User Behavior Analysis

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and conduct user research studies, including usability testing, interviews, surveys, card sorting, and heuristic evaluations.
• Develop research protocols, test plans, and discussion guides.
• Recruit and screen participants for research studies.
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative research data to identify key insights, patterns, and pain points.
• Synthesize research findings into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for product, design, and engineering teams.
• Present research findings to stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to ensure user needs are met throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Advocate for user-centered design principles and best practices within the organization.
• Stay current with the latest trends and methodologies in UX research.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of UX research processes and tools.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Information Science, or a related field; Bachelor's degree with significant relevant experience will also be considered.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience conducting UX research in a product development setting.
• Proven experience with a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
• Proficiency in using research tools and platforms for participant recruitment, data analysis, and reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and the product development lifecycle.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
• A strong portfolio showcasing past UX research projects and impact is required.
• Experience with statistical analysis software is a plus.
