This role focuses on utilizing satellite imagery, aerial photography, and other geospatial data to monitor crop health, land use, and environmental conditions across vast agricultural landscapes.

Key Responsibilities • Acquire, process, and analyze remote sensing data (e.g., satellite imagery, drone data) for agricultural applications. • Develop and implement algorithms for vegetation monitoring, yield estimation, and anomaly detection. • Create maps and visualizations of land cover, crop health, and soil moisture. • Collaborate with agronomists and farm managers to integrate remote sensing data into their operations. • Ensure the accuracy and quality of geospatial datasets and derived products. • Stay abreast of advancements in remote sensing technology and geospatial analysis techniques.

Requirements • Master's or Ph.D. in Remote Sensing, Geospatial Science, Environmental Science, or a related field. • Proven experience in remote sensing data processing and analysis, specifically for agricultural purposes. • Proficiency with GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and remote sensing software (e.g., ENVI, ERDAS Imagine). • Experience with programming languages like Python or R for geospatial analysis. • Strong understanding of vegetation indices and spectral analysis. • Excellent analytical and communication skills for presenting complex geospatial information.
