About the Role

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Remote Software Deployment Specialist to join their technology team, supporting clients primarily in the Gauteng region from a remote location. This role is critical for ensuring the seamless and efficient deployment, configuration, and maintenance of software solutions across diverse client environments. You will be responsible for managing the entire software lifecycle, from initial installation and setup to ongoing updates and troubleshooting, all performed remotely. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and manage the remote deployment of software applications and updates to client systems.
• Configure software settings and integrations based on specific client requirements and technical documentation.
• Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting for software-related issues, diagnosing and resolving problems efficiently.
• Develop and maintain deployment scripts, documentation, and best practices for software installation.
• Collaborate with development, support, and client teams to ensure smooth software rollouts and updates.
• Monitor deployed software performance and proactively address any emerging issues.

Requirements

• Proven experience in software deployment, IT support, or systems administration.
• Strong understanding of software installation processes, dependency management, and configuration.
• Proficiency with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automating deployments is a significant advantage.
• Familiarity with remote access tools and management platforms.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
• Strong communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and internal teams remotely, relevant to the Installation & Maintenance sector.
