About the Role
Our client is seeking an innovative Remote Soil Scientist to join their progressive team. This fully remote position focuses on analyzing soil data, developing soil management strategies, and contributing to sustainable land use practices across diverse agricultural regions. You will interpret soil test results, provide recommendations for fertility management, and advise on soil conservation techniques, all while working from a remote location. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of soil physics, chemistry, and biology, coupled with strong analytical and communication skills to effectively guide clients and field teams. This role is vital for promoting soil health and optimizing agricultural productivity for a sustainable future.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze soil samples and interpret data related to physical, chemical, and biological properties.
- Develop tailored recommendations for soil fertility management, nutrient application, and pH adjustment.
- Advise on best practices for soil conservation, erosion control, and land restoration.
- Evaluate the impact of agricultural practices on soil health and provide guidance for improvement.

Requirements
- Master's or Ph.D. in Soil Science , Agronomy, or a related environmental science field.
- Proven experience in soil analysis, interpretation, and providing management recommendations.
- Strong understanding of soil physics, chemistry, biology, and their interaction with plant growth.
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and data analysis software relevant to soil science.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration and client interaction.
- Knowledge of sustainable agriculture and soil conservation techniques is essential.
