About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Remote Special Needs Education Facilitator to support students' learning journey within a virtual setting, originating from Durban . In this critical role, you will provide specialized educational assistance and intervention to students with diverse learning needs, working remotely to ensure equitable access to education. You will collaborate closely with classroom teachers, parents, and support specialists to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small group instructional support to students with special needs via online platforms.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Collaborate with teachers and specialists to adapt curriculum and learning materials for diverse needs.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and support strategies.
• Maintain detailed records of student performance, interventions, and progress towards IEP goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.
• Relevant certification or qualification in special needs education.
• Demonstrated experience working with students with a range of learning disabilities.
• Proficiency in utilizing online communication and educational tools.
• Excellent empathy, patience, and problem-solving skills for remote support.
