Remote Supply Chain Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly organized and proactive Remote Supply Chain Coordinator to manage and optimize their supply chain operations. In this role, you will oversee the flow of goods from suppliers to production and delivery, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely fulfillment. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners, leveraging technology to manage inventory, logistics, and procurement. This position is ideal for an experienced professional who excels in a remote environment and possesses strong planning and negotiation skills within the manufacturing supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, inventory, and logistics.
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure adequate stock availability.
• Liaise with suppliers to negotiate terms, place orders, and track shipments.
• Optimize transportation routes and methods to reduce costs and delivery times.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and disruptions.
• Maintain accurate supply chain records and generate performance reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Supply Chain Coordinator or in a similar logistics/procurement role.
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management, and logistics operations.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a remote work setting and manage multiple priorities effectively.
