About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organized Remote Systems Administrator to manage and maintain their IT infrastructure from anywhere. You will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of servers, networks, and cloud services, utilizing a robust set of remote management tools.

Key Responsibilities • Administer, monitor, and maintain server infrastructure (physical and virtual) ensuring high availability and performance. • Manage network devices, firewalls, and VPNs to ensure secure and reliable connectivity. • Implement and enforce security policies, conduct regular security audits, and respond to security incidents. • Deploy, configure, and manage cloud-based services and applications. • Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting for end-users and system issues. • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations and operational procedures.

Requirements • Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar IT infrastructure role, with a strong emphasis on remote management. • In-depth knowledge of server operating systems (Windows Server, Linux), networking protocols, and virtualization technologies. • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
