About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly competent Remote Systems Installation & Maintenance Specialist to enhance their remote support capabilities. This position is central to ensuring the successful deployment and continuous optimal functioning of systems and equipment managed entirely through virtual means. You will be responsible for conducting remote diagnostics, guiding clients through installation processes, and performing virtual maintenance tasks. This role is perfect for an experienced technician in the Nelspruit area, or beyond, who excels in a fully remote environment and is dedicated to providing exceptional technical service from a distance, contributing to a cutting-edge operational model.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform remote installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of client systems and equipment.
• Provide expert technical support and guidance to clients via phone, video conference, and remote access tools.
• Conduct virtual maintenance checks and implement necessary updates and patches to ensure system integrity.
• Document all remote support activities, client interactions, and technical resolutions accurately within the service management system.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams to elevate complex issues and contribute to knowledge base development.
• Monitor system performance remotely and proactively identify potential issues for early resolution.

Requirements

• Proven experience in technical installation, maintenance, and remote support roles.
• Strong proficiency with remote desktop software, diagnostic tools, and network troubleshooting utilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely to clients.
• Self-disciplined, highly organized, and capable of managing workload effectively in a remote setting.
• Familiarity with cloud-based systems and virtualized environments is a plus.
