Our client, a dynamic Recruitment Consultancy focused on the startup ecosystem, is seeking a motivated Remote Talent Acquisition Specialist to support emerging companies. Working entirely remotely, you will connect innovative startups with the talent they need to scale and succeed. This role requires a proactive approach, creativity in sourcing, and a passion for the fast-paced world of entrepreneurship. You'll play a crucial part in helping groundbreaking companies build their core teams, operating from anywhere in South Africa.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for various roles within high-growth startups, from technical to operational positions.
• Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent for early-stage companies.
• Conduct thorough candidate screening, interviews, and reference checks, assessing for both skills and cultural alignment with startup environments.
• Partner closely with startup founders and hiring managers to understand their unique talent needs and company vision.
• Provide guidance on employer branding, candidate experience, and effective recruitment practices for startups.
• Negotiate offers and facilitate onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, with a focus on startup or high-growth environments.
• Demonstrated success in sourcing and hiring for a variety of roles, including technical, sales, and marketing.
• Strong understanding of the startup landscape, including common challenges and talent needs.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and persuasive skills.
• Proficiency in using modern recruitment tools, ATS, and social sourcing platforms.
• Self-motivated and able to thrive in an independent, remote work setting.
