What this role is all about:

The Beem Talent Acquisition Team is looking for an intermediate recruiter for a temporary 8-month position. You’ll join a small but mighty talent acquisition team working to support a credit union with 60+ branches across British Columbia. We are in a growth phase and are operating in a merger landscape. The successful candidate will recruit for a mix of positions from entry-level to senior branch roles as well as head office team members.

This is a temporary 8-month position, to support high volume hiring. This role is open to a remote work arrangement in British Columbia. While we welcome all applications, we anticipate filling this role with a candidate located in British Columbia.

What you’ll do:

Recruitment &Selection

• Collaborate with HRBPs and business leaders tosource and select top talent following best practices
• Post open positions, screen candidates, conduct initial interviews over phone and video call, recommend candidates, schedule interviews for hiring managers, debrief and support hiring decisions,make offers, conduct background checks
• Supporthiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions that attract qualified candidates
• Provide a world-class candidate experience
• Represent the organization at career fairs, networking events, and community outreach initiatives
• Trackand report onkey recruitment metrics

Compliance & Best Practices

• Ensure all recruitment activitiescomply withemployment laws, regulations, and internal policies
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, integrating them into the talent acquisition function

Whatyou’llbring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Demonstratedexpertisein industry best practices, including talent sourcing, behavioral interviewing, and selection strategies
• Proven experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and other recruitment tools
• Experience in a fast-paced, changing environmentpreferred
• Experience in banking/credit union recruitment preferred
• Experience in both in-house and agency recruitment preferred

Annual salary range: $69,500 – $81,000
