About the Role
Our client is seeking a visionary Remote Telecom Solutions Architect to lead the design and development of innovative telecommunications solutions. Working entirely remotely, you will engage with clients and internal stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into scalable, reliable, and cost-effective technical blueprints. This role is crucial for driving technological advancements and ensuring our solutions meet the evolving demands of the telecoms industry. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of our service offerings from the comfort of your home office.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and design end-to-end telecommunications solutions, including IP networking, mobile technologies, and cloud integration.
- Translate complex business requirements into detailed technical specifications and solution designs.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and product management teams to ensure alignment and feasibility of proposed solutions.
- Conduct technical feasibility studies and provide expert advice on technology selection and implementation strategies.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all architectural designs and solutions.
- Lead proof-of-concept initiatives and pilot projects to validate new technologies and approaches.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Over 8 years of experience in designing and architecting complex telecom solutions.
- Deep understanding of 4G/5G, IP networking, SDN/NFV, and cloud-native architectures.
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with vendor solution evaluation and selection in the telecoms sector.
- Demonstrated experience working effectively in a fully remote, distributed team environment.
