About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a skilled Remote Telecommunications Technician to join their distributed technical team. This fully remote position allows you to leverage your expertise in telecommunications systems from anywhere, focusing on providing remote support, troubleshooting, and configuration for a wide range of client networks and equipment. You will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity and performance of our client's telecommunications infrastructure, diagnosing and resolving issues through advanced remote diagnostic tools. Key Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting for telecommunications hardware and software issues.
• Remotely configure, install, and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, and modems.
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify potential problems and bottlenecks.
• Document all support activities, configurations, and resolutions in the company's ticketing system.
• Collaborate with on-site technicians and other internal teams to resolve complex network challenges.
• Stay updated on the latest telecommunications technologies and best practices to ensure continuous service improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Telecommunications Technician role, with a strong emphasis on remote support.
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
• Proficiency with remote access tools, network monitoring software, and diagnostic utilities.
• Experience with configuration and management of various telecommunications equipment (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, fiber optics).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear remote interaction.
