About the Role

Our client is seeking a resourceful and organized Remote Tour Guide Platform Manager to enhance their online platform connecting travelers with local guides. In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for managing the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing support of tour guides, ensuring a high-quality experience for both guides and customers. You will develop strategies to attract top talent, implement performance management systems, and foster a thriving community of guides. The ideal candidate has a passion for travel and local culture, coupled with strong operational and community management skills, enabling them to build and scale a premier network of tour guides globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end process of recruiting, vetting, and onboarding new tour guides.
• Develop and implement guidelines and training materials for tour guides to ensure service excellence.
• Manage communication channels and foster a strong community among the network of guides.
• Monitor guide performance, collect feedback, and implement quality assurance measures.
• Identify opportunities to enhance the guide experience and platform features.
• Collaborate with product and marketing teams to promote guide offerings and attract travelers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in operations management, community management, or a related role, preferably in the travel or platform industry.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and engage remote teams or communities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Experience with online platforms, CRM systems, and communication tools.
