Remote Transportation Engineer - Road Network Design

Key Responsibilities

• Design and plan road and highway networks, including intersection design, geometric layout, and alignment.
• Conduct traffic analysis, capacity studies, and safety assessments using simulation and modeling software.
• Develop detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents for road projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, urban planners, and other engineers in a virtual team environment.
• Ensure designs comply with national and international road design standards and best practices.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings to clients and stakeholders remotely.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Transportation Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) designation or equivalent international professional license.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in road and highway design, traffic engineering, and transportation planning.
• Proficiency with transportation engineering software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, PTV Vissim, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of traffic engineering principles, geometric design standards, and road safety audits.
• Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage tasks independently.
