Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) solutions, including traffic signal control, sensor networks, and real-time traffic management.
• Develop traffic simulation models and analyze large datasets to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
• Contribute to the planning and design of integrated public transport networks and active transport (cycling/walking) infrastructure.
• Research and evaluate emerging transportation technologies and mobility services.
• Collaborate virtually with clients, municipal authorities, and technology partners to deliver innovative mobility projects.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and project proposals for a diverse range of stakeholders.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Transportation Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in transportation engineering, with a focus on ITS and smart mobility.
• Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration with ECSA is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in traffic modeling software (e.g., VISSIM, SUMO) and data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R).
• Experience with cloud-based platforms and digital collaboration tools is essential for this remote role.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
