Key Responsibilities

• Manage volunteer databases and maintain accurate records of volunteer activities and hours.
• Communicate regularly with volunteers to provide support, guidance, and feedback.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance the volunteer experience and ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with program staff to identify volunteer needs and align placements with organizational goals.
• Organize and facilitate virtual volunteer appreciation events and recognition initiatives.
• Stay informed about best practices in volunteer management and non-profit operations.
• Ensure compliance with all organizational policies and procedures related to volunteers.

Requirements

• Proven experience in volunteer management, program coordination, or non-profit leadership.
• Demonstrated success in managing volunteer programs, preferably in a remote or hybrid setting.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in volunteer management software (e.g., VolunteerMatch, Better Impact) and virtual collaboration tools.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to motivate and inspire individuals in a remote environment.
• A passion for the organization's mission and a commitment to community service.
• Bachelor's degree in Non-profit Management, Human Resources, Social Work, or a related field is preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work remotely.
