Remote Warehouse Operations Analyst

About the Role

Our client is looking for a data-driven and proactive Remote Warehouse Operations Analyst to enhance efficiency across their distributed network of warehouses. In this role, you will analyze operational data, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to optimize inventory management, workflow, and resource allocation, all from a remote location. You will work closely with site managers and cross-functional teams to implement data-backed solutions that drive cost savings and productivity gains. The ideal candidate is a strong analytical thinker with excellent reporting skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze warehouse operational data (e.g., throughput, inventory accuracy, labor efficiency) to identify trends and bottlenecks.
• Develop reports and dashboards to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for warehouse operations.
• Recommend and support the implementation of process improvements and best practices across facilities.
• Assist in forecasting staffing needs and optimizing resource allocation based on operational demands.
• Collaborate with remote site managers and IT teams to ensure data accuracy and system effectiveness.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and technologies impacting warehouse operations.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in operations analysis, data analysis, or a related field within logistics or warehousing.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and supply chain principles.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
