About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Remote Warehouse Supervisor to manage and oversee warehouse operations from a remote location, supporting their facility in Port Elizabeth. This unique role requires a strong leader capable of guiding and motivating a warehouse team through effective remote communication and performance management. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and safety of all warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, and dispatch, all while operating outside of a traditional office setting. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the daily activities of warehouse staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.

• Monitor and manage inventory levels, conducting regular cycle counts and resolving discrepancies.

• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse environment.

• Implement and maintain operational procedures to optimize workflow and productivity.

• Provide remote guidance, training, and performance feedback to warehouse team members.

• Coordinate with logistics and transportation teams to ensure timely shipment of orders.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a warehouse supervision or management role.

• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including inventory management, receiving, and shipping.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and motivational skills, particularly in a remote setting.

• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and related technology.

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues effectively from a distance.
