This is a fully remote position, meaning your primary work location will be from your home, supported by our advanced remote monitoring and diagnostic systems. You will be responsible for the remote operation, monitoring, and initial troubleshooting of wind turbine fleets across various sites. This role requires a strong technical aptitude, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with field technicians and engineers via digital platforms. Key Responsibilities

• Remotely monitor the performance of wind turbine generators using SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems.
• Analyze real-time data to identify potential issues, anomalies, and performance degradations.
• Conduct initial remote diagnostics and troubleshooting of wind turbine faults and alarms.
• Communicate effectively with on-site field technicians to guide them through maintenance and repair procedures.
• Generate detailed reports on turbine performance, fault logs, and maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate records of all remote operations and diagnostic activities within the company's asset management system.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to provide feedback for system improvements and predictive maintenance strategies.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures during remote management.
• Participate in virtual team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with wind turbines, preferably in operations, maintenance, or monitoring roles.
• Proficiency with SCADA systems and other remote monitoring platforms common in the energy industry.
• Strong understanding of wind turbine technology, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Exceptional communication skills, particularly in conveying technical information clearly and concisely in a remote setting.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain focus in a remote work environment.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software.
• Willingness to adapt to shift work if required for 24/7 monitoring operations.
