About the Role
Our client is seeking a certified and inspiring Remote Yoga Instructor to lead engaging online yoga classes for their global community. This role offers a flexible, part-time, fully remote opportunity to share your passion for yoga and mindfulness with individuals seeking to improve their physical and mental well-being from the comfort of their homes. You will be responsible for designing and delivering a variety of yoga styles, adapting classes to different levels, and creating a calming and supportive virtual environment conducive to practice and self-discovery, all managed within our innovative digital platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and teach a variety of online yoga classes, including Vinyasa, Hatha, Restorative, and beginner levels.
- Adapt poses and sequences to accommodate different student abilities, injuries, and modifications.
- Create a serene and encouraging atmosphere during live virtual classes using video conferencing tools.
- Provide clear verbal cues and demonstrations to guide students through poses and sequences.
- Engage with students in a virtual setting, answering questions and offering personalized feedback when appropriate.
Requirements
- Certified Yoga Instructor (RYT 200 or higher) from a reputable school.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably with experience in online instruction.
- Proficiency with live streaming platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet) and other virtual teaching tools.
- Excellent communication, active listening, and empathetic instruction skills.
- A calming presence and the ability to inspire and motivate students through virtual means.
