About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and creative Remote Youth Engagement Specialist to connect with and support young people in Soweto and the surrounding Gauteng communities.
This position operates entirely remotely, focusing on leveraging digital platforms and virtual strategies to engage youth, provide guidance, and connect them with opportunities for personal and professional growth.
You will design and implement virtual programs that foster skill development, mentorship, and community building among young individuals, contributing to a brighter future for the youth of Soweto from anywhere.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement engaging virtual programs and initiatives for youth.
• Utilize social media and digital platforms to connect with and recruit young participants.
• Provide online guidance and mentorship to youth on educational and career pathways.
• Facilitate virtual workshops and activities focused on life skills, leadership, and empowerment.
• Connect youth with relevant online resources, internships, and employment opportunities.
• Monitor participant engagement and feedback, adapting programs as needed.
Requirements
• Experience in youth work, education, community development, or a related field, preferably with online engagement.
